Avocados are one of my favorite food items. Avocados are creamy and rich in flavor. They are the perfect thing to slather on bread. I try to only buy avocados when they are in season because of their high price. Despite the cost, avocados are well worth the purchase.

Begin with cutting open the avocado and mashing the avocado meat. Add salt and lemon and mix. Spread on bread. Add whatever sliced veggies you prefer like tomato.

Avocados can be used in almost anything. You can make avocado fries, guacamole, sliced on bread or put it in salad, or even used instead of butter in pastries.
