Peanut Butter Cookies Made With Only 4 Ingredients

Peanut Butter Cookies Made With Only 4 Ingredients

I’m one of those people that make a ton of food when I invite people over. I’m always worried that someone will go hungry. For the Thanksgiving meal dessert, I made a coffee cake, but I thought it wouldn’t be enough, even though I also had a bunch of chocolates. So I decided to make another quick dessert, peanut butter cookies. I grew up eating these all the time because they are super easy to make and inexpensive. I used this recipe as inspiration but went my own way with it. Here is how I made these delicious cookies.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup / 96g of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup / 227g of peanut butter
  • a sprinkle of flour

Method

Preheat the oven to 350F (175C).

Mix the sugar, eggs, peanut butter, and flour together.

With a spoon, scoop up some of the mixture and put the ball on the baking sheet. Do this until there is no more of the mixture.

With a wet fork, press down on the batter ball. Do that again the opposite way.

Bake for no more than 8 minutes.

These cookies are delicious by themselves or a steaming hot cup of tea. Enjoy them!

  1. Can you use either natural peanut butter or the kind we had back in the ’60s? I grew up with the latter but for years I use the natural style which separates at room temp.
